Technique Tuesday... Aqua Wash
Today I'd like to share a quick and easy technique that creates a wow effect, its called Aqua Wash.
In order to do this technique you will need the following materials:
The measurements for this Project are:
Basic Black 4.25 in x 11 in
Water Color Paper 4 in x 5.25 in
Whisper White Card Stock 4 in x 5.25 in
Small scrap piece of Whisper White to Stamp on.
On your sandwich baggie scribble your colors light to dark.
*Tip I placed the baggie over the paper I wanted to have colored so I had an idea how much would be covered
After you have scribbled on your baggie place water on your paper using a brush or Aqua Painter
Press down on your baggie to spread the color out.
Remove the baggie there will likely be places where the color has pooled tilt the card what ever way you'd like to blend the colors more. Let paper air dry or use the Heat Tool to dry paper quicker.
Adhere the watercolor paper to the Basic Black Card stock and the Whisper White Card stock to the inside. Add the sentiment you want I used Just Add Text and the flower is from Daisy Delight. The sentiment was cut out using the retired Chalk Talk Framelits and popped up with Dimensionals.
